Safety instructions for the correct use of electrical appliances
All electrical appliances must be used strictly in accordance with the following safety instructions:
- Use the device according to the instructions.
- Strictly observe the safety label, if present, and the relevant provisions.
- Always switch off the device if it is not used or unattended.
- Before connecting the device to the power mains, make sure that the electric system complies with the standards in force in the country of installation (e.g. earthing system and differential-magnetothermal switch).
- Keep the work surface clean and avoid the presence of paper or flammable materials in the vicinity.
- Keep the power cable away from the heating surface.
- Make sure that the power cable is properly protected against mechanical influences (passage of persons, sharp objects, etc.), thermal influences (heat sources) or chemical influences (corrosive substances).
- Connect the device to a power outlet suitable for the power cable provided. If adapters are needed, check that they are properly sized (10A/16A).
- Before disconnecting the plug, always make sure that the device is switched off using the proper switch.
- Connect the device to the nearest outlet avoiding the use of extensions and power strips as much as possible.
- Disconnect the device from the mains before starting periodic cleaning.
- At the end of the day or work, always switch off the main power supply, if possible, and in any case disconnect the device from the mains.
